THE WATER SPOUT

The water spout that Dr. Leonard Martin of Lowell Observatory published in 1980 in the NASA Activities

(Dec. 1980, vol. 11, number 12).

In this photo we can see perhaps some kind of spouting action.

Here in a more detailed close up. Notice to the right as it appears to be a large crator.

It looks as though the vapors have settled into it. There seems to be a ridge running on both sides of it.

In this enhancement we can see a more detailed view of the spout.

D

Unless you are viewing this through Net Scape it will look like a big blob.

This picture shows the plume to have a denser substance in the center.
